Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there!! I hope you all have a fabulous and well deserved relaxing day with your families.

This Sunday is the Susan G. Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure Walk. I just got back from picking up our Coleman4aCure team shirts for the walk and I could feel all of the excitement in the air. The race is truly something special; thousands of people coming together, raising money and awareness for breast cancer. Beyond raising money and awareness, the race is also about honoring those people who have lost their lives to breast cancer, those that are still fighting and those who have overcome the disease.

This Sunday I will get to watch my father proudly cross the finish line in his pink shirt, a color that signifies that he is a survivor. It is a special moment that I look forward to all year and I couldn’t be more proud of him.

This is our first year doing the Philadelphia walk and the whole Coleman4aCure team is so excited. It’s going to be a beautiful weekend with thousands of people coming together to fight for the cause.

Good luck to all of the runners and walkers that will be participating in the walk. To all of the survivors, I look forward to watching you all cross the finish line!

I had a chance to jump on air with a friend named Chris from Rich East High School in Park Forest, IL. He’s a young, aspiring radio host that had asked me to join him on SportsNetNews for an interview, and let me be the first to say he’s got a great future ahead of him. We took a look back at my career as a Philadelphia Eagle thus far and discussed the team’s preparation for the upcoming season. Check out the audio and see how great he’s going to be! Good luck Chris and go Eagles!

Since Spring is underway, it is time to gather and start raising awareness and support for breast cancer and Coleman4ACURE.

Hey Eagles Fans,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and Passover weekend and enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones. Since Spring is underway, it is time to gather and start raising awareness and support for breast cancer and Coleman4ACure.

I have some exciting news to share with you all. Coleman4ACure will be doing a dual-city walk this year in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure! We will have two teams, one team walking in Philadelphia on May 13th (you can register for this team via Coleman4ACurePhilly) and one team walking in Columbus, Ohio on May 19th (you can register for this team via Coleman4ACureColumbus under team name Coleman4ACure). Registration for the Columbus walk ends April 26th … hurry up and get signed up! This is the first year Coleman4ACure will be participating in the Philadelphia walk and we hope that many of you can join us in raising awareness and support for male and female breast cancer.

My father, Ron Coleman, was named Honorary Chair for the Susan G. Komen walk in Columbus. Congratulations Pops! As honorary chair, my father will participate in various media activities, attend race events and help with race activities. The first year we participated in the Race, my father brought a team of 20 to Columbus and together we raised $2,500. Last year, our Coleman4ACure team was 69 members strong and was able to raise nearly $10,000.

This year, we hope to raise $15,000 and you guys can help us do this! If you, or anyone you know, would like to join our team and help raise awareness please join us in walking for Coleman4ACure in Philadelphia or Columbus. If you aren’t able to participate in the walk and would like to donate, donations for the Philadelphia walk can be made via Coleman4ACurePhilly under the “Donation” section on the left hand side. Donations for the Columbus walk can be made via Coleman4ACureColumbus under the “Donation” section as well.

I hope to see all you Philadelphia fans at the walk on the 13th! We can all make a difference, please help Coleman4ACure and donate or sign up now! God bless and play it forward!
